Our story…
Our story begins just a city over in the town of Monrovia. Our Senior Pastor, Pastor Ben, was asked by his Senior Pastor, Pastor Richard Schork, to begin a work in a new city. The Lord began to stir vision in Pastor Richard’s heart to begin planting churches in the 210 corridor. Pastor Ben had been attending Calvary Chapel Monrovia for 12 years. After much prayer and leading from the Holy Spirit, Pastor Ben was chosen to pioneer the work. After much prayer and consideration the city of Duarte was where the Lord began to direct the vision. Over the course of a year the Lord began to show His hand mightily. He revealed a staff, location, and even giving favor a direction from the city of Duarte itself. In January of 2021 the church began holding its service in a space that is occupied by the New Song Coffee Shop most days of the week.

Our Senior Pastor, Ben Tucker, with his wife Vanessa, and son Santiago, were called to pioneer the work in the city of Duarte. Pastor Ben and Vanessa met in Mexico after Ben’s time serving in the mission field that brought him to Bible college. After finishing their studies Ben and Vanessa returned to his home church of Calvary Chapel Monrovia under Pastor Richard Schork. After 5 years the Lord began to stir Pastor Richard to start new Calvary works in the surrounding cities and the Holy Spirit soon identified Pastor Ben to pioneer the work in the city of Duarte. After much prayer, in January of 2022 the new work began operating and is waiting on the movement of the Holy Spirit to guide its growth and impact in the city of Duarte.
